Obituary
Frank L. Miller, Sr., 91, of Franklin, NC, formerly of Leesburg, FL, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 30, 2005.
A native of Prattville, Alabama, he was the son of the late Frank L. Miller and Sudie Durden Miller. He was married to the late Wyolene Johnson Miller who died October 16, 1998. Frank was a US Army veteran of WWII and retired from Lassiter-Ware Insurance Co. in 1983 where he worked for 30 years as Senior Vice President. He was a former pilot, member of the A.O.P.A., member of the Leesburg Rotary Club serving as secretary for 25 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 108, Franklin.
He is survived by his son Frank L. Miller, Jr. and his wife Debra of Tallahassee, FL; one brother, John M. Miller of Kentucky; two grandchildren, Laura Miller and Rene Miller; close friend, Elsie Stowe of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
Being a former pilot, Frank has requested that his cremated remains be spread by plane over the mountains of Macon County.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
