Frank Hagan, Jr., 70, of Sarasota, FL and Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011.

Born in Arcadia, FL, he was the son of the late Francis Burdett Hagan and Alice Johnson Hagan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Noles and three brothers, Harold B. Hagan, Ralph J. Hagan and Joel Hagan. Frank retired from Florida Power and Light where he worked as an electrical engineer. He held NC and FL General contractor's licenses. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Sarasota, FL and was a sixth generation Native Floridian. Frank enjoyed history, gardening, building and birds.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianne Dishong Hagan; four children, Serena H. Green and husband Doug of Clover, SC, Jeanne Marie Keckler of Sarasota, FL, Bill Hagan of Franklin, NC and Michelle A. Hagan of Henderson, NV; brothers and sisters, Louise Lorenzo of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Nell Juneau of Cotton Port, LA, JoAnn Wuthrich of Odessa, FL, Alice Marie Frierson of Arcadia, FL and Darrell Hagan of Arcadia, FL; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on April 2, 2011, at Diamond D Ranch, 5518 NE Highway 70, Arcadia, FL, beginning at 3:00 p.m., with dinner at 5:00 p.m. Please RSVP to 941-957-4444 or  [email protected]  .
