Obituary
Frank B. Fields, 84, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013.
Born in St. Petersburg, FL, he was the son of the late Harry Fields and Viola Blakely Fields. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Fields who died June 17, 2005 and great grandson, Sean Holterbach. Frank was owner of Alpine Tobacco and was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
He is survived by four daughters, Diane Galloway of Fletcher, Deborah Holterbach of Asheville, Mary Jo Clark of Franklin and Susan Robb of Clayton, GA; two granddaughters; three grandsons and six great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 21, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 20, at Macon Funeral Home. A Rosary will follow at 8 p.m.
Members of the Knights of Columbus will serve as Pallbearers.
Memorial donations can be made to the Knights of Columbus, Saint Michael's Council 8363, 299 Maple Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
