Obituary
Francis John McCune, 84, of Franklin, entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2016.
Born in Roxbury, MA, he was the son of the late Francis E. McCune and Alberta MacDonald McCune. Francis was a US Air Force veteran, teacher and farmer. He received a degree from Boston College. He was a devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; taking care of himself as God intended and serving the Lord, as well as the underserved, was his life's mission. He loved to sing and was a choir member. Francis loved nature and the outdoors and was an avid Red Sox baseball fan.
He is survived by one sister, Arlene B. Young of Hyannis, MA and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Bourne, MA at Massachusetts National Cemetery.
