Frances "Louise" McCabe, 74, of Franklin, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late John E. Hughes and Cuba Betty Houston Hughes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Lewis Hughes and sister, Annie Gertrude Clark. Louise enjoyed reading, gardening and tending to her animals; she had a great love for horses. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald Kevin McCabe; two nieces, Barbara Drass and Loretta Swan both of Waterford, MI and two nephews, LeRoy Grider and John A. Clark both of Franklin.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13th in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jim Dusek will officiate.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
