Frances Nolan DeWitt, 87, of Otto, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011.

Born in Morehouse, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Simpson N. Nolan and Katherine Jordon Nolan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William E. "Bill" DeWitt who died May 13, 2011. Frances was the owner of Coweeta Creek Campground. She loved flowers and enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by two children, Susan Kay DeWitt of the home and Nolan DeWitt and wife Frances of Franklin and one grandson, Daniel Dowdy of Franklin.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Carpenter and Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Rush Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Dowdy and men of Tessentee Baptist Church.
