Frances Virginia Calloway, (101), passed away peacefully on October 15, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Rex Anderson Calloway. Both were long-time residents of Clarks Chapel in Franklin, although Mrs. Calloway had resided in Asheville since late 2011. Mrs. Calloway volunteered for over twenty years with both Angel Medical Center and the Manna Food Program. She is survived by sons Wayne Calloway (Jean) of Leesburg, FL, Keith Calloway of Boynton, FL, and Kevin Calloway (Christee) of Otto, NC, and daughters Virginia Kaye West (Michael) of Asheville, NC, and Nancy Keel of Coconut Creek, FL. She enjoyed her 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Calloway requested that no funeral be held, however memorial donations may be made in the name of Frances Calloway to Manna Food Programs of North Carolina.
