Obituary
Floyd "Buddy� Thomas, 65, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Saturday, March 4, 2006.
A native of Macon County, he was the son of Hazel Cowart Thomas and the late Luther Thomas. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd "Buck� Thomas and a sister, Josephine Raby.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Dorothy Pendergrass Thomas; step son, Ronnie Roper of Franklin; one brother, Dewey "D.L.� Thomas of Franklin; one sister, Joann Wiggins of Franklin; and four step grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 6, at Macon Funeral Home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
