Obituary
Florence Bleick Godin, 93, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2006.
A native of Mankato, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Simmonds and Olga Plautz Simmonds. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbert Carl Bleick who died in 1967 and second husband, Anthony Godin who died in 1989, brother, Lyle Simmonds and a sister, Ethel Orth. Florence was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd.
She is survived by a daughter, Deanna Maxine Cooper and husband, Stanley of Franklin; two grandchildren, Thomas Cooper of Marietta, GA and Timothy Cooper of Asheville, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 11 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 235 Sloan Road, Franklin, NC.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
