Fern G. Rhyne, 88, of Franklin, entered into rest Thursday, January 6, 2005.

A native of Cramerton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Quinton Orr Goforth and Letha Hardin Goforth. She was married to the late Reedy Rhyne. Fern was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Mt. Holly, NC.

She is survived by three children Betsy Nichols and husband, Bobby and Reedy Rhyne, Jr. of Dillard, GA and Susan Hudspeth and husband Tim of Hendersonville, NC; one grandchild; and one great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 7, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Holly, NC.
