Obituary
Evelyn Jean Bourke, 87, of Franklin, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Born in Lynbrook, NY, she was the daughter of the Harry S. and Catherine Boyd Higbie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Alan Bourke. She was a retired hospital administrator, member of the Snowhill United Methodist Church, and volunteer at Macon New Beginnings. In her spare time, she loved to knit and be outdoors.
Mrs. Bourke is survived by her sons, Robert Alan Bourke (Debbie) of Franklin, and William Scott Bourke (Flo) of Pittsburgh, PA. Also surviving are 5 granddaughters and numerous great grandchildren.
