Obituary
Eva Ruth Summers, 88, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015.
Born in Tampa, FL, she was the daughter of the late Loyce Hutchinson and Susie Copeland Hutchinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin "Burke" Summers. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by two children, Carolyn Solomon (Ken) of Franklin, NC and Tom Summers (Eilish) of Bellevue, NE; one sister, Eloise Fletcher of Tampa, FL; three grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, November 3, at Iotla Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Vic Greene will officiate.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Angel Hospice, who were so instrumental in giving her great care during her final days, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
