Obituary

Eva Nell Bradley Parrish, 84, of Franklin, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late John Everette Bradley and Beulah Byrd Bradley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hargrave Parrish who died in 2007; son, James Ronald "Ronnie" Parrish, who died in 1995; four sisters, Betty, Grace, Leo and Vernice and three brothers, Troy, Verlin and Carl. Eva Nell loved to garden and enjoyed canning. She was a member of Cowee Quilting Club and will be remembered for her kraut and fried pies. She was loved by all in the community and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Lee Parrish and wife Gaye of Clayton, GA and Robert "Bobby" Gene Parrish and wife Wanda of Franklin; daughter-in-law, Margaret Parrish; brother, Ralph Bradley of Franklin; sister, Annie Byrd Cook of Winston Salem; five grandsons; one granddaughter and ten great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Stevens and Rev. Shane Danner will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Tony Parrish, Matt Brewer, Chad Parrish, Everett Parrish, Michael Parrish and Greg Parrish.
Great grandsons will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
