Eula Marie Sanders, 80, of Franklin, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, January 31, 2022.

Born in the Jackson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Edna McCallahan Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Muriel Eugene Sanders; a grandson, Matthew Willis; and six siblings.

Mrs. Sanders worked for many years as a clean-up supervisor with Summit Timber Co. in WA. She was a member of the Mt. View Baptist Church in Darrington, WA. Her hobbies included painting, reading, and spending time with her dogs. She loved reading the Bible and sharing God's word with others; and loved the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Darlene Sanders (Johnny) of Franklin,NC, and Diana Willis Wagner (Kyler) of Darrington, WA; one brother, Berlin Cook (Carrie) of Arlington, WA; and one grandson, Michael Sanders of Maynardville, TN; and two great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Life Spring Community Church at 6 pm.

Rev. Bryon Lamb will officiate.
