Obituary
Eston Richard Fletcher, 87, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013.
Born in Quitman, GA, he was the son of the late Clifton C. Fletcher and Minnie Holbrooks Fletcher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Earl, Curtis, Wilson and Herbert Fletcher and sisters, Thelma Fletcher White and Myrtle Fletcher Kirkland. Eston was a US Army veteran and served during WWII. He retired from the City of Lakeland, FL as a supervisor in the Water Department. He was a member of Community Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Thelma Marie Brubaker Fletcher; two children, Patricia Fletcher Scharold and Debra Lori Connor and husband Gene; two step-children, Alan Smith and wife Mary and Charles Smith; and three grandchildren, Scott Scharold and Eric and Gregory Buxton.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
