Obituary
Emma Catherine Hedden Jenkins, 97, of Franklin, passed away October 15, 2015.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Pritchard Hedden and Eva Russell Hedden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jenkins who died December 26, 1999. Emma was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Pauline Coleman (Harry) of Martin, GA; Kenneth Jenkins (Regina) of Walhalla, SC and Wilma Johnson (Roy) of Franklin, NC; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 18, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bud Haire will officiate. Burial will be in the Strain Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, October 17, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Todd Williams, Ronnie Jenkins, Jeff Clark, Cecil McCall, Scott Stewart and Harry Coleman.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
