Obituary
Emma V. Erwin, 93, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late John B. Vinson, Sr. and Mae Belle Conley Vinson. In addition she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Erwin who died in 1972. Emma was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading and loved to travel.
She is survived by three brothers, Robert Vinson of Otto, John Vinson and Charles Vinson both of Franklin; two sisters, Elizabeth Cearley and Mary Gregory both of Franklin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Abel will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Dick Otto, Bill Cearley, Allan Vinson, Cody Stevens, Gary Vanhook and Johnny Howard.
Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
