Emil Joseph Varrichio, 93, entered into rest Tuesday, July 18, 2006.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was son of the late Virgil and Joanie Varrichio. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Clara Belle Stanfield Varrichio. Mr. Varrichio retired from Photo Circuits where he helped manufacture cameras. He was also an avid golfer, shooting two holes in one at the Franklin Golf Course. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
He is survived by one son, Emil "Chip" Varrichio of Franklin; one brother, Billy Varrichio and one sister, Sue Izzo, both of Long Island, NY; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Rosary Service will he held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 21, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Father Tien Hung Duong will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
