Elmer C. McCall, 87, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013.
Born in Dillard, Georgia, he was the son of the late Frank McCall and Rosa Nix McCall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Dendy, Lilly McCall, Lassie Norton, Margie McKinney and Pauline McConnell and two brothers, Carl and Hoyt and two infant brothers, Herbert and Harvey. Elmer was a member of Cullasaja Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Madge Stanfield McCall; two daughters, Linda McCall McCabe of Franklin and Brenda McCall Manos of Queen Creek, AZ; half-sister, Judy Goorey of Tennessee; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alton Dendy will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Clyde McCall, Kevin McCall, Bill McConnell, Ryan McCabe, Justin Russell and Timothy Gholston.
