Elizabeth Wilson West, 87, of Franklin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2015.

Born in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie B. Wilson and Myrtle Reed Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robin "Bob" West who died August 18, 1996 and two sisters, Edna West and Joyce Pressley and two brothers, Ted Wilson and Ray Wilson. Elizabeth was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of Sugarfork Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Diana Lynn West Rogers and Elizabeth Nadine West McFarland both of Franklin; two sisters, Aeline Penley of Fairview, NC and Margaret Tranthum of Rutherfordton, NC; two grandchildren, Jennifer George Viverette and R. Eric Rogers and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Lewis Smith and Rev. Roy Lowe will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at Macon Funeral Home.

Tripp Viverette, Michael Jenkins, Michael Bowman, Michael Mashburn, John Bush and Kyle Jennings will serve as Pallbearers. Jonathan Hartley will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Franklin House, 186 One Center Court, Franklin, NC 28734 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family requests that all visitation be at the funeral home.
