Obituary
Elizabeth "Beth" Thorndike, 47, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019.
Born in Morristown, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Tucker Williams and Carolyn Sue McDaniel Williams. Beth was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts and loved researching and coloring. She was also an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
She is survived by her wife, Becky Thorndike of Franklin; daughter, Kelley Armstead of Berkeley, CA; brother, Knox Williams (Tammy) of Knoxville, TN and nieces and nephew, Amanda Neel (Willie), Liz Peterson and Rob Williams all of Knoxville, TN and two great nieces, Lillie and Kaylee Neel.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, October 20th at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 85 Sierra Lane, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
