Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Pearson, 89, of Franklin, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012.

Born in Macon Co., she was the daughter of the late Fred D. Cabe and Jessie Sutton Cabe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Pearson who died May 19, 2012; two brothers, Jack Cabe and Charles Cabe and sister, Mildred Cabe Perry. Elizabeth was a member of First Baptist Church, receptionist at the county courthouse for fifteen years, and helpmate to her husband at their businesses. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas Lamar Pearson and his wife Alice Bradley of Denton, NC; Charles Curtis Pearson and his wife Charlotte of Franklin; five grandchildren: Alyson Pearson Bosworth and her husband Bobby; Kurt Pearson and his wife Christina; Brad Pearson and his wife Trinity; Jessica Pearson Tallent and her husband Jonathan, and Matthew Pearson; seven great grandchildren: Collin Bosworth, Slade, Jenson, Ivey, Mia and Ava Pearson and Jackson Tallent; brother, Larry Cabe and wife Gaynell; sister-in-law, Joann Cabe and ten nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at First Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Brown and Rev. Jim Dusek will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ledford, Jonathan Tallent, Curtis Reynolds, Marty Ransom,
Jim DiGuiseppi and Robert Bosworth.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
