Obituary
Elaine Jackson Porter, 89, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010.
Born in Salem, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles Jackson and Lydia Waddington Jackson. Elaine enjoyed playing the piano and organ and attended Bethel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert F. Porter; four children, Nancy Porter of Murphy, NC, Dennis Porter of Franklin, Steve Adams of Clairmont, FL and Paul Kitzinger of Clearwater, FL; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to Angel Hospice General Fund, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
