Edith Hall Shuler, 103, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Cary Hall and Lucy Bradley Hall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Conley Morrison and second husband, Floyd Shuler; sister, Effie Queen and two brothers, Oliver and John Hall. Edith was a lifelong resident of Macon County and was the oldest member at Oak Grove Baptist Church. The four things she loved best were her family, the church, her dahlias and quilting.
She is survived by two sons, Grover Shuler and wife Kitty of Knoxville, TN and Bruce and wife Hank Shuler of Franklin, NC; daughter, Revena Shuler of Franklin, NC; two grandchildren, Bill Shuler and Michael Shuler and one great-grandchild, Shawnee Shuler.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Stevens, Rev. Judson Hall and Rev. Vic Greene will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Shuler, Bill Shuler, William Shuler, Joe Breedlove, Mike Breedlove and Jim Brown.
