Dorothy Ann Schellens, 94, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014.
Born in Alexandria, OH, she was the daughter of the late Guy L. Hammond and Rachel Minerva Wood Hammond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Russell Hughes and John Schellens and two sisters, Elizabeth Clary and Virginia Andrew. Dorothy was a Real Estate Broker and an Artist and was a Protestant by faith.
She is survived by three children, Judith Ann Burgess and husband, Edward of Lexington, SC, Barbara Christy and husband Joe of Franklin and William Steven Hughes and wife Gloria of Houston, TX; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
No Services have been planned at this time.
