Obituary
Dorothy Allison Rogers, 72, Franklin, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011.
Born in Pisgah Forest, NC, she was the daughter of the late R.V. Allison and Hattie Kinsey Allison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Josie Rhoades. Dorothy enjoyed bird watching, walking the greenway and her flower garden.
She is survived by three children, Lynne Spires of Manchester, OH, Marty Rogers of Lake Toxaway and Kelly Rogers of Franklin; two sisters, Peggy Heath and Geneva Galloway both of Brevard; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12 in Brevard at Carr's Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Tommy Mullis will officiate.
