Obituary
Dorothy Louise Phillips, 92, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2006.
A native of Goshen, AL, she was the daughter of the late John Nathan Phillips and Mary Braswell Phillips. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lamar Phillips and a sister, Mary Kathryn Deese, who died in October 2005. She was an Associational Missionary and member of the Orange St. Baptist Church in Troy, AL.
She is survived by a sister, Marguerite Klages of Franklin, a brother, Joe B. Phillips of Cordova, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 22, at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, AL. Rev. Hubert Dickerson will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from from 10-11 a.m. Friday, December 22, at Dillard Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Giddeons Fund or First Baptist Church Elevator Fund, 69 Iotla Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
