Obituary
Dorothy Jean Hiles, 90, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018.
Born in Jeannette, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Judson Billups and Elsie Gardner Mathieson Billups. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Hiles and sister, Margaret Bennett. Dorothy was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin, League of Women Voters, Democratic Women's Club, Friends of the Library and was a retired teacher.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Jean Brown of Franklin and Janet Hiles of Coral Gables, FL; three grandchildren, Angela Gicewicz, Teresa Vaughan and Daniel Rodriguez; four great grandchildren, Jenna Gicewicz, Ted Gicewicz, Rebecca Vaughan and Axel Rodriguez.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:45 a.m., Sunday, January 28th at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
