Dorothy Morgan Gregory, 68, of Franklin, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 16, 2012 at home, surrounded by her family.

Born in Macon Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late John Madison Morgan and Mary Etta Scott Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Estes and Willa Mae Hall; four brothers, Roy, Bill, Fred and Joe Morgan; great-granddaughter, Sarai Taylor and an infant great-grandchild. Dorothy worked at Sylva Medical Center for 17 years, where she served as receptionist. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She was the devoted wife of Nolan Gregory for 51 years; the loving mother of three children, Ricky Gregory and wife Mary, Rev. Randy Gregory and Donna Seibert and husband Stacy Dills; five grandchildren, Heather Gregory, Christopher Seibert and wife Shannon, Daniel Gregory, Anna Taylor and husband Johnathan and Jeremy Gregory; great granddaughter, Tiana Gregory and three siblings, Dewey Morgan of Lexington, NC, Roger Morgan of Fairview, NC and Lorene cope of Mt. Vernon, WA;

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Reverends Rick Potts, Gary McCoy, Carson Gibson, Charles Stevens and Ron Owensby will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 17th at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Eric Young, Terry McGrew, Tim Chase, Ryan Zimmerman, Kevin Morgan and Blaine Keener.
