Obituary
Dorothy Franklin Asher Christy, 96, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018.
Born in Bicknell, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Edward Franklin and Tina Meyer Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Homer Asher; second husband Marvin Christy; son, Edward Asher; daughter, Susan Asher Shaw McGee; and a brother, Bill Franklin. Dorothy was the first female general supervisor at General Motors Truck and Coach.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Asher (Connie) of Franklin; step children, Sherry Foster and Peggy Marcillie both of Falls Church, Maryland; sister, Margaret Dailey of Pinellas Park, FL; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral Service and burial will be held in Waterford, Michigan.
Macon Funeral Home is handling the local arrangements.
