Donald Eugene Ohda, 66, of Franklin, entered into rest on Friday, June 10, 2005.

A native of Sterling, Illinois, he was the son of Darlene Nason Ohda Stoner and the late Kenneth Ohda. Donald retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1977 after 22 years of service and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2001 after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Church of the Great Outdoors and a member of the Burningtown Iotla Volunteer Fire Dept. Donald loved and cherished his family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Jean Stevens Ohda; seven children, Connie Martin and husband Scott of Houma, LA, Clay Ohda and wife Catherine of Houma, LA, Jennifer Neuman and husband Michael of Henniker, NH, Robert Liss of Lisbon, NH; Thomas Liss of Branford, CT, Todd Ohda and wife Rendy of Houma, LA, and Tammy Tomlinson and husband Michael of Klamath Falls, Oregan; twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Siblings: Larry Ohda of Rockford, IL; Sandie Corbin of Rising Sun, MD; Kathy Smith of Woodville, TX; Betty Aguilar of Borger, TX; and Sherry Smith of Sterling, IL.

Services will be held at a later date.
