Don Grady West, 84, of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of Franklin, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011.

Born in Macon Co, he was the son of the late Ed West and Mattie Rhinehardt West. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Don was a Shriner and member of the Junaluska Masonic Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by two sons, Michael West and wife Kandyce of Bishop, GA and Gary West and wife Courtney of Jefferson, GA; a daughter, Missy Gruber and husband Carl of Gainesville, GA; a sister, Ann Cookston of Franklin; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites conducted by Junaluska Lodge 145 and full military rites conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be member of the Junaluska Masonic Lodge.
