Obituary
Dixiana Sprague Hanks, 77, of Franklin NC, formerly of Leesburg, FL, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2007.
Born in Washington, Mo, she was the daughter of the late James Truman Sprague and Mildred Bishop Sprague. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Sylva, NC. Dixiana was a retired school teacher.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Franklin Hanks; two daughters Tara Hanks Schwab, of Ocoee FL and Lisa Hanks of Franklin, NC.; four granddaughters Stephanie Ascough, Rebekah Schwab, Felicity Schwab, Mira Schwab.
Memorial Services will be private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Presbyterian Church Choir Fund, 46 Presbyterian Drive, Sylva NC 28779.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
