Dewey "Bill" William Haynes, Jr., 61, of Franklin, passed away May 3, 2015.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Dewey William Haynes and Ruth Annell Madison Haynes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Robins. Dewey was a U.S. Army veteran, where he served in the Special Forces.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Teri McGill Haynes; two children, Brandy Roper and husband Sam of Lenoir, NC and Jessica Bonifacius and husband Chuck of Hickory, NC ; brother, David Haynes of Hudson, NC; two sisters, Lenny Brown of San Antonio, Texas and Cheryl Hoover of Lenoir, NC; and three grandchildren, Samuel Fredell, Dalton Mosley and Zayden Bonifacius.
