Obituary
Dennis Earl Orf, 57, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011.
Born in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Wanda Elaine Orf and the late Vernon Orf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Ann Nelson. Dennis loved the outdoors, enjoyed his farm and raising cattle. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
In addition to his mother, Wanda Orf and friend, Don Beitler, he is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Susan Christensen of Magnolia, TX and Denise Marie Orf of Tomball, TX; brother, Steve Orf of Clovis, New Mexico; aunt and uncle, Fred and Nancy Lancaster of Mayfield, KY; aunt, Jackie Cecil of Louisville, KY and two grandchildren, Ethan Kairis and Jared Christensen.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 10, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate.
Memorial donations can be made to Angel Hospice General Fund, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
