Obituary
Deborah Penland Thompson, 60, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of Howard Ray Penland and Betty Dickerson Penland.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Jana Thompson of Franklin and April Lamb and husband Nick of Rosman, NC; two sisters, Patricia Cook of Franklin and Brenda Buckner of Fairview, NC; grandson, Ryan Lamb of Rosman, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2nd in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Dixon will officiate. Burial will be in Wells Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Angel Hospice General Fund, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
