Obituary
Deborah "Deb" Charlene Hood, 61, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of Christine Southards Mincey and the late Charles Marshall Mincey. Deb was a member of Ellijay Baptist Church and was a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a compassionate and caring person thinking of others before herself.
In addition to her mother, Christine Southards Mincey, she is survived by her son, Brandon Hood of Franklin; her daughter, Ashley Hood of Franklin; her sister, Paulette King of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 11, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Neal Moore will officiate. Burial will be in the Ellijay Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm, prior to the service.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
