Dean Dodge, 62, of Franklin, passed away Monday, December 06, 2010.
Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Nancy Denton Dodge and the late Keith A. Dodge. Dean was a US Army veteran and served during the Vietnam Era. He was the owner of Dodge Packaging. He loved music, playing golf, working in his flower garden and enjoyed time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Diane Bolick Dodge; a son, Dean Dodge of the home; sister, Nancy Butynski of The Villages, FL; two brothers, Mark A. Dodge and wife Teresa of Washington and Craig A. Dodge of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Buck Creek Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 7 at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jr. Patton, Mike Edwards, Buddy Henson, Terry Penland, Mike Breedlove and Herb Schrey.
Memorial donations can be made to Buck Creek Baptist Church, or the Hospice House Foundation.
