Obituary
Dean Conner, 68, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011.
Born in Jackson Co. NC, he was the son of the late William R. Conner and Aurlee Brown Conner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Harvey Conner and William Ralph Conner and sister, Betty Jo Conner. Dean loved hunting.
He is survived by his former wife, Willene Conner; two children, Melonie Conner Stewart and husband Russell and Gregg Conner and wife Shelly all of Franklin; brother, Ray Conner of Brevard; four grandchildren, Kortney Conner, Karey Conner, Steffanie Ammons and Dakota Ammons and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 15 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Andy Cloer will officiate. Burial will be in Tuckasegee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
