Obituary
David Lee Williams, Jr., 49 of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of David Lee Williams, Sr. and Vera "Odie" Dills Williams of Franklin. David graduated from South Western Community College and Western Carolina University with a B.S. degree and was a landscaper. David loved music and was a member of Watauga Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his aunts, Juanita Tippett of Waynesville, NC and Clara Gibson of Franklin, and an uncle Junior Dills of Monticello, Ga.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5pm on Sunday, March 23, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. David Lee Williams and Rev. Frank Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in the Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association, Greenville Office, 16-A Brozzini Court, Greenville, SC 29615.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
