Obituary
David Ray Stanley, 49, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of Stella Webb Stanley and the late Leroy Stanley. David worked for Aaron Pest Control and was a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and playing the guitar.
In addition to his mother, Stella Webb Stanley, he is survived by his wife, Leigh Anne Wilson; two children, Cody Stanley and Marissa Hickle and husband Devin both of Franklin; step daughter, Ahzah Kennemore of Highlands; four sisters, Linda Higdon and husband Paul, Evelyn Owens and husband Gary, Diane Pangle and husband David, Patsy Stanley; three brothers, Donnie Stanley and wife Diane, Scottie Stanley and wife Kim and Jeffrey Stanley and wife Jennifer all of Franklin; one grandson, Auberon Adams and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 16, at First United Methodist Church. Rev. David Beam will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the church.
