David Earl Prince, 67, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012.

Born in Jackson Co, he was the son of Ocie Mae Queen Prince and the late Alvin Prince. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister. David worked as a bulldozer operator and loved to fish and hunt. He was a Seventh Day Adventist.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Martin Prince; daughter, Kathy Prince and seven brothers and sisters, James Alvin Prince , Marvin Prince, Charles Prince, Leonard Prince, Annie Coggins, Linda Mathis all of Sylva and Beverly English of Bryson City.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Phillip Cochran and Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jason Prince, Enoch Jones, Sonny Collier, Chucky Stanley, Larry Norris, Jeff Porter and Linda Prince.
