Obituary
David Eugene Barnett, 55, of Otto, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010.
Born in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Linton Lumpkin Barnett and Sadie Mae Rogers Barnett. David retired from Atlanta Gas Light Resources and was awarded Keeper of the Flame twice. He was an accomplished organist and played for Resurrection Lutheran Church, where he was a member.
He is survived by his lifetime companion, Craig Graham of Warner Robins, GA; son, Matthew Barnett and wife Sarah of Acworth, GA; five siblings, Kenneth Barnett of McDonough, GA, Shirley Barnett of Smyrna, GA, Melvin Barnett of Brunswick, GA, Nancy Glover of Virginia Beach, VA and Nathan Barnett of Brunswick, GA; several nieces and nephews and treasured yorkies, Thomas and Patrick.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 18, at Resurrection Lutheran Church. Pastor John Brunner will officiate.
