Danny Welch, 64, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013.
Born in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late Addie Belle Welch. Danny was a member of Burningtown Baptist Church, member of the Rescue Squad, member of the Civil Air Patrol and was former Fire Chief for Burningtown Fire Department.
He is survived by his son, Johnathon Welch and wife Lisa of Franklin and two grandchildren, Ashlee Welch and Tanner Welch.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Drinnon and Reverend Dr. Patrick Welch will officiate. Burial will be in the Burningtown Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be members of the Burningtown volunteer Fire Department.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
