Dan A. Schoenman, 77, of Franklin, NC, formerly of Longwood, FL, passed away Thursday, September 09, 2010.
Born in Peru, IN, he was the son of the late Alfred Schoenman and Laverne Huddlestone Schoenman. Dan worked as an Insurance Executive for The Ohio Casualty Insurance Group, formally American Fire and Casualty Ins. Company, retiring after 30 + years of service. He loved to spend time with his family traveling, experiencing new foods and cooking. He enjoyed keeping up with his favorite sport teams, the Chicago Cubs, Bears and the Atlanta Braves. Dan was an avid reader and he could tell a good story.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Fonda Lyons Schoenman; daughter, Elizabeth Linn of Charlotte and special companion, Bandit.
