Obituary
Dale Lawrence Shobe, 67, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017.
Born in Wadsworth, OH, he was the son of the late Willard Dale Shobe and Hattie Hawthorne Shobe. Dale was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a talented musician and enjoyed fishing. Family and friends were most important in his life.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Massung Shobe; six children, Sean Gibbs (Cindy) of Philadelphia, PA, Joel Shobe of San Diego, CA, Jessica Heikkila (Tom) of Rockford, MI, Justin Shobe of Grand Rapids, MI, and Marcella and Guy; sister, Carol Kurti (Ralph) of Franklin; thirteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 2, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Pastor Glenn Marshall and Carl Ashlock will officiate. Another service will be announced at a later date.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
