Cora Winona "Winnie" Crawford, 79, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013.
Born in Sylva, she was the daughter of the late Rebecca Mills Buchanan. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Crawford who died in 2004 and sister, Carolyn Bishop. Winnie was a member of Windy Gap Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Lambert of Gainesville, GA and Benita Snyder and husband David of Franklin; four sisters, Polly Jo Begley and husband Johnny of Knoxville, TN, Meredith Wilburn and husband Kenneth of Alcoa, TN, Shirlene Dyer and husband Gary of Strawberry Plains, TN and Judy Hopson and husband Barree of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, Sarah Lovell and husband Stephen, Emily Snyder and C.J. Lambert and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Fouts will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Boyce Cunningham, Randy Cunningham, Ricky Cunningham, Chuck Avery, Lawson Raby and Kenneth Wilburn.
