Connie Bishop Higdon, 37, of Franklin, NC, passed away Mon., Oct. 2, 2006.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of Roger and Joyce Sanders Bishop. She was the patient account manager at Angel Medical Center. Connie was a member of Watauga Baptist Church. She graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting.

In addition to her parents, Roger and Joyce Sanders Bishop of Franklin, she is survived by her husband of 13 years, Bo Higdon; two children, Garrett Higdon and Dillon Higdon of the home; brother, Mitchell Bishop of Franklin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marshall and Shay Higdon of Franklin; two nieces, Amber Higdon and Vanessa Higdon both of Franklin; and step grandfather, George Brown of Sylva, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 5, at Watauga Baptist Church. Rev. Wesley Price, Rev. Mark Bishop, Rev. Rick Potts and Rev. Roy Lowe will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wed., October 4, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mark Berry, George Roper, Steve Green, Greg Tippett, Derrick Hurst, Glenn Hedden, Doug Johnson and Ernie Brendle.
