Cody Ryan Angel, 34, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011.

Born in Jackson Co, he was the son of Douglas Angel and Thelma Woodard Angel. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Verlie Woodard. Cody worked with the family construction business. He was a Christian and a member of Mashburn Branch Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Bob and Rosie Angel of Franklin and Christine Woodard of Sylva; great grandmother, Candice Gibson Angel of Franklin and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Owens, Rev. Mike Chastain and Rev. Wiley Gibson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Woodard, Doyle Woodard, Jamie Ledford, Kyle Johnson, Jeff Moses, Jason Bradley, Josh Owens and Dustin Brogden.

Clyde McCall, Howard Bishop, Bobby Wilson, Scott Fisher, Jeff Barrett and Duane Cruise will be Honorary Pallbearers.
