Clyde Jackson Rose, 56, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008.
Born in Cherokee Co, NC, he was the son of Mary Magdaline Evans Rose of Morganton, NC and the late Gid Rose. Clyde owned Rose Tree Service, was a past member of the Macon County Coon Hunters Club; and he loved meeting his friends at the Huddle House.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Christy Russell of Franklin; two brothers, Grady Rose and Frank Vincent Rose both of Morganton, NC; three sisters, Mary Kathryn Gross of Gastonia, NC, Mozella Fairchild and Bell Lane both of Morganton, NC; three grandchildren, Maranda Dawn Russell, James Michael "Mikey" Russell and Destiny Faith Russell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 18, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Browning, David Campbell, Shawn Bates, Randy Boshears, Tom James and Bud Elliott.
